If you still think that “New School” equates to stretch pants that leave nothing to the imagination, rear-entry boots and old skinny skis, then you’ll fit right in at Mt. Rose’s Slide Back Retro Ski Party. Break all of the ski fashion laws on this one-day only event– at the always-chic (and newly built) Slide Lodge at the bottom of Slide Bowl. Slide Back.

Spirit of the Games

February 26-28
In recognition of the Olympics being back on the West Coast, Mt. Rose is holding slalom races open to the public Feb. 26-28th. The races will be held daily from 11:00 am-2:00 pm and there will be a match and win format. Prizes will include daily medals and results will be posted at Mt. Rose. Open to all ages, skiers and snowboarders welcome. Participants must be able to ski or ride intermediate runs. Entry is free with the purchase of a lift ticket or season pass.

Mt. Rose - Ski Tahoe opens the gate to high-flying, speed demons of every shape and size, with ONE CATCH. NO live pulse can accompany any entry. Witness pure lunacy as dummies compete for the best run down Show-Off, directly in front of the Mt. Rose main lodge. Recieve 4 FREE lift tickets with public (non-staff) entry! Registration is from 8:30 - 10:30 at the main lodge. Don't miss the fun!
